RETRO ADIDAS TRAINERS
HOW ADIDAS BECAME ADIDAS Adolf ("Adi") Dassler – the man who gave Adidas its name was inspired by a single idea when he made his first trainers in 1920, at the age of just 20. A passionate athlete himself, his vision was to give every athlete the best possible trainers for their respective discipline. In 1949, Adi Dassler registered the name Adidas and introduced the now legendary 3 Stripes to his Adidas trainers. Soon after, this iconic Adidas symbol began its victory lap around the world to become the most famous identifier of any trainer brand.
